Date Change...AGAIN! 2010

I can't believe that I am doing this AGAIN but I am working on my new plan. I hate this and I hate the feeling that I have failed. I am now aiming for a departure of Aug 2010.

Will post further plans when I have them. :)

Plan...well the first part

It looks like I am going to be heading back to the country where the travelling dream began.....Ireland! I think heading there for a few months will give me the kick in the ass I need to get started. I am going to go and spend time with the people that made me realise that travelling was possible. I can also earn some Euro's and be much closer to my dream.

I would like to leave Canada in July sometime so that I can have some nice weather in Dublin. Head to Belfast and catch up with family and see the place I never got to see...YET!

I am much more organised than I thought this time.....backpack and some accessories.....now I just need the cash...minor problem! Where there is a will there is a way....:)

Go to where you are free......

Get this going!

Well here it is....I begin again!

Last trip I planned didn't exactly happen so this time I am going to move mountains to make it happen!

I am hoping to begin my trip Oct 2009 but this time is going to be a wee bit different. I have done hours upon hours of research and have decided not to plan as much. Can you believe that took me hours upon hours of research to figure that out! I know..I know...I'm a slow learner! I am going to head to my first destination and then decide from there.

I am thinking (and I have the right to change this thought...AT ANY TIME!...and probably will 10 times before I purcahse my first ticket) that my first port will be Africa. Yes I know...this is a very large port but I am going to decide closer to the time which part of this amazing continent I am going to visit first!

So my friends....I am planning again!

My favorite quote at the moment is "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you imagined." - Thoreau.

This is what I plan to do.

I don't really see much comfort in the fact that if I manage to stay in this job for another 25 years I can retire with a full pension....really....I'm going to go with living my life while I am able!

So...stay tuned!
